Pentagon reveals declassified UFO footage at historic House hearing

Washington DC news, Washington news.

For the first time in 50 years, Congress held an open House hearing on UFOs during which the Pentagon shared declassified photos and videos of unidentified flying objects.

Military officials released unexplained sightings of UFOs including glowing triangles and a flying object that zipped past a pilot that the military could not identify.

“I do not have an explanation for what this specific object is,” Deputy Director of Naval Intelligence Scott Bray admitted adding that the triangular UFOs were labeled “unmanned aerial vehicles.”

  • Bray revealed that there were at least 11 “near misses” encounters between the military aircraft and UAP (Unidentified Aerial Phenomena) and that there were no attempts to communicate with those objects.

“Unidentified Aerial Phenomena are a potential national security threat and they need to be treated that way,” Subcommittee Chairman Rep. Andre Carson said.

“For too long, the stigma associated with UAPs has gotten in the way of good intelligence analysis. Pilots avoided reporting or were laughed at when they did. DOD officials relegated the issue to the back room, or swept it under the rug entirely, fearful of a skeptical national security community.”
