Utah man, fiancée dumped woman’s body in Utah desert after murdering her

Tooele County, Utah authorities have arrested a couple accused of dumping a missing woman’s body after killing her earlier this month.

Brooklyn Tyree was last seen alive on May 3 getting into a car with her 7-month-old child and her boyfriend, Brandon Zipperle.

Surveillance footage depicted the moment and the clothes she wore, the same found on her lifeless body located in a remote area of the Utah desert days later.

  • Investigators tracked down both Tyree and Zipperle’s phones to the scene where her remains were discovered on May 6.

    Zipperle admitted to shooting his girlfriend and the mom of his baby to death before disposing of her body in the desert.

    Detectives later determined that Zipperle’s fiancée, 28-year-old Elizabeth Ludwig, was also involved in the crime after the tread of her shoe matched a footprint found at the scene.

    Ludwig was charged with obstructing justice while Zipperle faces an additional count of murder.
