‘Radical Decision’: Biden says if leaked Roe opinion is applied, other rights would follow

President Joe Biden commented Tuesday on the recently leaked Supreme Court’s opinion suggesting overturning the Roe v. Wade decision saying that a “whole range of rights” would be questioned if the opinion became effective.

“It’s really quite a radical decision,” the President stated before flying to Alabama where he is set to tour a defense production firm.

“It’s a fundamental shift in American jurisprudence.”

  • Biden added that “every other decision based on the notion of privacy is thrown into question” if the leaked document banning abortions nationwide is applied.

    Before these statements, Biden had called on Congress to codify abortion rights as he urged Americans to vote for lawmakers and representatives who would support their rights and freedom.

    The Supreme Court affirmed on Tuesday that the leaked draft opinion was authentic but denied assertions that it was the final decision of the court.
