At this same point of their presidency terms, Biden’s approval rates are higher than Trump’s were nearly four years ago.
According to FiveThirtyEight’s polls, President Joe Biden had an approval rating of 41.6 on April 15 compared to former President Donald Trump’s rating which stood at 40.6 percent on April 15, 2018.
Also, Trump’s disapproval rating on the same date was 53.8 percent, which is 1.6 percent higher than Biden’s currently.
The findings did not change the fact that President Biden’s poll numbers have considerably plummeted since he took office.
When he first became President, Biden had an average favorability among voters of 53 percent while Trump entered office in January 2017 with an approval rating of 45.5 percent.
Currently, Trump’s favorability among voters is higher than that of the commander-in-chief with 43.7 percent of the surveyed seeing him favorably as of April 13.
