A New Jersey woman was found dead in Wallace Lake, Washington last week after she disappeared during a three-hour hike with a friend.

25-year-old Alisonstar Molaf was hiking on a Gold Bar trail, within the Cascade Mountains on Friday when she vanished. Hours later, her body was located on Saturday.

“It is believed the two hikers were under the influence of mushrooms,” the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office announced following an autopsy.
