Those who knew actress and animal rights activist Lindsey Pearlman are struggling to believe that the bubbly woman had died from a suspected suicide.
Authorities did not confirm Pearlman’s manner of death but said that she was lifeless in her parked car when discovered Friday near the entrance of Hollywood Hills’ Runyon Canyon Park.
The 43-year-old’s cousin posted on social media that police found Pearlman, but that “it was too late.” She also shared the National Suicide Hotline number as requested by Pearlman’s sister adding: “Know that you are never alone.”
The fallen actress’s neighbors recalled seeing her more somber the week leading to the tragedy; something that seemed very alarming given Pearlman had a constant cheerful demeanor.
“She seemed really tired and usually she was very peppy. She has just gotten a divorce and that’s why she moved here. She was looking for a new start.”
