French authorities confirmed Wednesday the passing of 37-year-old Gaspard Ulliel who had starred in the upcoming Marvel’s “Moon Knight.”
One day after the Disney+ series revealed its official trailer, the French actor succumbed to injuries he sustained while skiing in the Alps Tuesday.
Ulliel suffered a fractured skull after colliding with another skier in the Savoie region’s Rosiere ski resort.
The late actor had played the role of Midnight Man in the highly-awaited Moon Knight. He had other participations including roles in “Silence of the Lambs”, “Saint Laurent” and “Red Dragon.”
In addition to being an actor, Ulliel was the advertising figure of Chanel's men’s fragrance Bleu de Chanel.
