Tamarac news, Florida news.

A Florida man is being held without bond more than one month after he allegedly murdered his estranged wife and disposed of her remains in a secluded area.

Ernest Gordon, 44, reported his wife Wanda Gordon missing on November 7, three days after he allegedly killed her.

Although his initial narrative of the events leading up to her disappearance seemed consistent, detectives ultimately obtained surveillance footage of him disposing of suspicious garbage bags at a construction site on Nov. 5.

Earlier this month, the 42-year-old woman’s cellphone was tracked to a wooded area near Tarmac where police also found clothing and braids she sported.

Remains of the victim, including her skull, were located in the deep muddy water at the scene. Wanda Gordon’s blood was also found on her husband’s truck and her bedroom.

Relatives had revealed the couple was separated prior to the murder but lived at the same residence. Ernest Gordon still insists he had nothing to do with his wife’s death.
