2 North Carolina high school students found dead inside parked car

North Carolina authorities are left clueless over the deaths of two high school students found inside a parked car over the weekend.

Britany Carolina Munoz Ramirez and Ailton Sebastian Tirado-Martinez were identified as the teens found lifeless in the parking lot of Don Steed Elementary School in Hoke County early Sunday.

  • Detectives said that the decedents were both 11th-grade students at Hoke County High School and played soccer at the school team.

    “This is a great loss for our entire district family. We offer our sincere condolences to the family, friends, and the HCHS community in their time of need,” the Hoke County Schools said in a release.

    No cause of death had been determined but foul play is not suspected, police said.
