Georgia boy trying TikTok challenge hangs himself in tree

A Georgia boy was found hanging from a tree at his Rome family home and investigators believe he had been trying the infamous TikTok blackout challenge.

Robert Craig’s 12-year-old sister found him dead in the home’s yard and tried to revive him.

“I walked outside, I saw his tablet and I saw him hanging from the tree. I ran over and got him down. I called 911 and tried to do CPR on him,” the girl said.

  • She added that her 10-year-old brother wouldn’t commit suicide and that even detectives believe he died while attempting the blackout challenge.

    “They said they don’t believe it was a suicide because he was a happy child and after looking at his TikTok it could have been a TikTok challenge,” she said.

    The boy’s tablet revealed that he was in the midst of the challenge on TikTok when he passed away.

    “Grandmothers, grandfathers hold your kids tight,” the girl said.
