A Missouri family of three was found dead in a Glenaire home in late July and investigators believe the tragedy was a “freak accident.”

On June 21, 66-year-old Roger Wilfong passed away after choking on food. The man was the primary caretaker for his disabled mom and sister, aged 99 and 67.

Also, “the temperatures in the month between when Roger Wilfong died and when the bodies were discovered were well into the 90s on multiple occasions, which also could have contributed to the deaths.”

The family dog was also found dead at the scene. All the victims’ bodies appeared to be seated in the living home when police made the grisly discovery on July 21.
