Los Angeles news, California news.

Two teens have been found shot at a California movie theater late Monday with the female victim declared dead on the scene.

Police identified the victims as 18-year-old Rylee Goodrich and her TikTok star friend Anthony Barajas, 19.

They were apparently watching the screening of “The Forever Purge” at around 9:30 p.m. when they were shot.

“During the actual movie time, no one apparently heard the gunshot,” staff member Kailyn Dillon said.

Officers said that no weapons have been recovered from the scene, meaning that the shooting was likely not an attempted murder-suicide.

“They are still going through the theater and looking for evidence that would send us in one direction or another,” police said. “We’re working in the blind.”
