Houston news, Texas news.

At least 25 people have been hospitalized Saturday after being exposed to a toxic acid leak at a Six Flags water park in Spring, Texas.

The parkgoers, many of them are children, suffered breathing problems and skin irritation and were rushed to an area hospital.

39 others suffered minor issues but refused to be taken to the hospital. Investigators at the scene determined the chemical leak was a combination of sulfuric acid and bleach.

“No indication of air quality or chemical leaks in the surrounding area at this time but please avoid the area if possible,” Harris County Judge Lina Hidalho said on Twitter.
