Minnesota gunman used different rifles, hundreds of bullets to shoot dead his older sister

A Minnesota home was left riddled with bullet holes after a gunman fired hundreds of bullets into his sister’s bedroom killing her over the last weekend.

Joseph Thomas Ness, 21, fired countless rounds inside the Chanhassen residence where he lived with his parents and sister, Noelle Ness.

A terrified mom ran to her neighbor’s home asking her to call Police and yelling: “Joey shot and killed Noelle.”

  • Shortly later, Ness reached another resident’s home and told her: “Please help me. I need your help. I need you to call the police for me. I just killed my sister. I want to surrender peacefully. I am unarmed.”

    When officers arrived, they found scores of spent rifle casings, shattered walls and windows, and a dead Noelle.

    Investigators believe that Joseph fired into his 25-year-old sister’s room through the hall using different rifles.

    At the scene, six rifles including an AR-15 and AK-47 were seized as well as high-capacity magazines and ammunition.
