DC news, Washington news.

Rep. Liz Cheney was removed from her position as House Republican Chair by voice vote Wednesday morning after months of feud with Former President Donald Trump over unfounded election fraud.

Cheney reacted to her ousting by insisting on her commitment to a stronger Republican Party and promising to “do everything I can to ensure that the former President never again gets anywhere near the oval office.”

Trump fired back at Cheney calling her “a bitter, horrible human being.”

“I watched her and realized how bad she is for the Republican Party. She had no personality or anything good having to do with politics or our Country,” he said.
