El Paso authorities probing suspicious death of infant at home where he was reported missing

El Paso Police officers responding to a missing child’s call discovered a toddler with serious injuries inside the home they were called to.

The suspicious incident occurred Saturday at around 10:45 a.m. inside a residence at the 3600 block of Johnson Avenue, Central El Paso.

Officers discovered a 7-month-old infant unresponsive at the home and tried to revive them, performing CPR.

    The investigation continues and no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

    Crime Against Persons Unit detectives as well as the El Paso Police Department officers are gathering evidence at the home, local reporters said.
