Minnesota woman ruins ex-boyfriend’s funeral, driving through cemetery and trying to plow into attendees

North Dakota authorities have arrested a Minnesota woman who tried to ruin the funeral of her former boyfriend over the last weekend.

Blair R. Whitten was invited to the ceremony after she posted negative things about the late man on social media.

When a relative spotted her parked SUV in the area, he approached her and asked her to leave triggering her anger.

  • She tried to run over him before starting to drive at a high rate of speed across gravesites. The decedent’s dad described being “scared as hell” as the incident unfolded.

    Officers arrested Whitten at the scene. She reportedly said that “multiple people approached her car” as she sat peacefully observing the service.

    She added that she drove away, not wanting to harm anyone or disturb the funeral.

    Whitten pleaded not guilty to one count of misdemeanor reckless endangerment.
