Body found in Cloverleaf ditch may belong to Hispanic woman with several tattoos

Houston Police are seeking the public’s help to identify a female’s body found in a ditch in the Cloverleaf area early Saturday.

Officers rushed to the ditch located in a suburb east of downtown Houston at around 3 a.m. over reports of a suspicious object that turned out to be a human body.

“When the deputies arrived on the scene they located an unidentified Hispanic female in the ditch,” Sgt. Ben Beall said. “EMS responded to the scene and pronounced her deceased.”

  • The woman appears to be Hispanic about 30 to 40 years old and 5’7” to 5’8” with several tattoos but with no identification documents on her.

    She was found wearing a tank top, blue jeans, and black and white baskets.

    Authorities specified that she had apparent trauma to her face but her official cause of death remains under investigation.
