Disturbing: Family of Daunte Wright reveals being subject to death threats & racist messages

Daunte Wright’s family members are being threatened and harassed through emails and calls over the police-involved shooting death of their loved one.

According to Attorney Thomas Bowers, “there have been some threats to the family, which is disturbing.”

Bowers added that he is concerned about the safety of the family and that of Wright’s only child.

    The attorney concluded: “It’s time to send the officer that killed him to jail and let justice be done.”

    The family layed the 20-year-old father to rest on Thursday after a funeral attended by George Floyd’s family and some politicians.

    “My son had a smile that was worth a million dollars,” Wright’s mom said. “When he walked in the room, he lit up the room. He was a brother, a jokester; he was loved by so many. He’s going to be so missed.”
