A Montana boy found a bullet covered in red coating inside a packet of Flamin’ Hot Cheetos Puffs he purchased at an area convenience store.
The 6-year-old’s father contacted the manufacturing company, Frito-Lay, to make them aware of the finding, despite receiving criticism and doubting comments.
The firm issued a statement following the dad’s complaints describing the situation as “highly unusual and troubling.”
“We have already taken steps to investigate and attempt to identify the root cause. We appreciate bringing this to our attention and will continue to work with him to resolve this matter.”
