Atlanta Police announced the arrest of a 21-year-old suspect whom they strongly believed was the perpetrator of three shootings that targeted spas late Tuesday.
The first reports of gunfire at the Youngs Asian Massage Parlor emerged at around 5 p.m. with two fatalities pronounced on the scene and two others at a local hospital. A fifth victim remains hospitalized.
Around an hour later, the shooter opened fire inside Gold Spa in the Buckhead neighborhood killing three other women.
Across the street, the 21-year-old gunman went on his murder-spree at Aromatherapy Spa, killing his eighth victim, before leading police in a three-hour car chase.
The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office was later arrested Robert Aaron Long of Woodstock without incident. He is being held at the Crisp County Jail.
