The Kansas City Chiefs outside linebackers coach admitted he had been drinking behind the wheel when he lost control and crashed into two cars days ahead of Super Bowl LV.

Britt Reid was reportedly injured along with two toddlers following the multi-car crash on Thursday night.

The two cars were parked on the on-ramp to Interstate 435 in Kansas City when Reid’s vehicle showed up slamming the left front of one car and the rear of the second.

A 5-year-old child was in the backseat of a car when the crash occurred and sustained life-threatening injuries. A 4-year-old was also hospitalized with minor injuries.
