A 5-year-old Philadelphia boy has fatally shot his 9-year-old cousin earlier this week and now the victim’s father is in custody on involuntary manslaughter charges.

Blake Davis’ daughter dies hours after being shot in the right side of her head at their North Bouvier Street home last Wednesday.

At around 11 a.m., she was playing with her cousin and her 12-year-old brother when the latter brought a gun to them and they started manipulating it.

At one point, the 5-year-old boy accidentally fired a fatal shot hitting Davis’ daughter in the head.

He has the custody of the three children and the family had just moved into their current residence recently.
