DC news, Washington news.

As the FBI and DC investigators race against time to hold the Capitol rioters accountable for the mayhem that left five people dead, the public has already identified many of them easily recognizable through videos and photos from the chaotic scene.

The “furry” rioter whose pictures widely circulated on social media was identified as Aaron Mostofsky, the son of a Brooklyn Judge and brother of an elected district leader.

Aaron’s sibling admitted to having attended the rally with his brother but that he had left before the others swarmed the Capitol.

“My brother did nothing illegal…He definitely was not part of the riot,” he said.

“I think certain states that have been red for a long time turned blue and were stolen, like New York.”

Another Capitol rioter depicted carrying Nancy Pelosi’s lectern was said to be a stay-at-home dad, psychology graduate, and doctor’s husband from Bradenton, Fla.
