Joe Biden addressed Americans for the first time as a President-elect and talked about healing and unity.

“I am humbled by the trust and the confidence you have placed in me. I pledge to be a President who seeks not to divide, but to unify, who doesn’t see Red and Blue states, but a United States and who will work with all my heart to win the confidence of the whole people.”

The now 46th President of America talked about his immediate plan to control the pandemic and rebuild the economy and prosperity. He also addressed Trump supporters, pointing out that he feels their disappointment since he too “lost twice” the election race.

“But now let’s give each other a chance,” Biden said. “It’s time to put away the harsh rhetoric; to lower the temperature; to see each other again; to listen to each other again. To make progress, we must stop treating our opponents as our enemy. We are not enemies. We are Americans.”

  • Hundreds of Biden supporters gathered outside club where Trump golfed chanting ‘You’re Fired’
  • The 77-year-old thanked his family and especially his wife Jill before they joined him on stage. His controversial son Hunter, 50, was also present and made his first presence for months.

Hunter hugged his dad who kept defending him against Trump and Giuliani that brought his secret documents out to the public in a bid to prevent his dad from being elected.

“My son, like a lot of people you know at home, had a drug problem,” he once told Trump during a debate. “He’s overtaken it. He’s fixed it. He’s worked on it, and I’m proud of him. I’m proud of my son.”

That was clear Saturday night as Biden kissed Hunter’s baby son after he joined the stage with wife Melissa, celebrating Joe Biden’s long-awaited victory over bitter rival Donald Trump.
