Alabama man arrested for trying to hire hitman to kill wife, 6 kids

A Hoover, Alabama man is behind bars after he allegedly tried to hire a hitman to kill his wife and his six kids, authorities said.

61-year-old Mohammad A.H. Mohammad is accused of the use of interstate commerce facilities in the commission of murder-for-hire.

Prosecutors alleged that Mohammad planned to hire someone to kill his 55-year-old wife with whom he had a contentious divorce.

He also is accused of planning to kill their six children, offering an undercover FBI agent $20,000 to kill his wife and $5,000 for each of his six children.

    Hoover Police arrested Mohammad on domestic violence charges for assaulting one of his daughters in 2021 and threatening his wife.

    “Mohammad has hurt me and my kids and used weapons against us,” she said at the time.

    “Mohammad said he wanted to shoot my daughter between the eyes.”
