Houston news, Texas news.

A Texas girl who went missing last week was found dead along a bayou Friday.

Tierra Horn, 18, was last seen alive on Tuesday. She was preparing for her birthday party, according to her sister.

“She had a lot more life she could have lived that was taken away from her,” Rokeisha Calton said.

Horn’s body was located in Buffalo Bayou on the northeast side of downtown Houston.

Calton said her sister knew someone living at an apartment building near the bayou. She suggested Tierra knew the person who killed her.

“A devil. A person who doesn’t have a heart. A person who doesn’t care about life. A monster,” Calton said of the killer who remains at large.

“I hope that everybody that’s involved or who knew anything, I hope they are all charged,” the grieving sister said.
