After she tried to denounce QAnon’s radical conspiracy theories, the movement is divided over to continue supporting Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene or just give up on her.

The Georgia congresswoman spoke on the House floor ahead of a vote to remove her from committee duties and made incendiary comments about the QAnon community.

“The problem with that is, though, is I was allowed to believe things that weren’t true and I would ask questions about them and talk about them and that is absolutely what I regret,” Greene said.

“So later in 2018, when I started finding misinformation, lies, things that were not true in these QAnon posts, I stopped believing it.”

On Thursday, the motion to remove Greene was passed by 230 votes to 199, supported by 11 Republicans.

Leslie M commented: “I hope you can explain why you turned your grassroots base against you. I championed you…then you caved and turned on the truth.”

Some Qanon supporters, however, remained rallied behind the expelled lawmaker: “It’s so sickening that some of the Republicans voted against her,” one wrote.
