Lil Wayne announced Tuesday the release of his new album “Tha Carter VI’ and an imminent 34-city tour featuring several guests, Tyga, and Belly Gang.
Tha Carter VI, which will be released on June 6, is Lil Wayne’s first solo album since Funeral in 2020.
His previous Carter albums (Carter III, IV, and V) all topped the music charts, adding to the expectation for the upcoming entry.
The singer will hit the road just after the long-awaited album’s release, starting with a major launch event at Madison Square Garden, which will mark Wayne’s first solo concert at the NYC venue.
The tour will run from June 6 to October 2 with stops at major cities including Los Angeles, Atlanta, Detroit, and Seattle.
Weezy is set to team up with special guests throughout the tour, including Belly Gang, Tyga, and Kushington.
