Body of missing father found near Maine mountain summit as search for daughter continues

Authorities in Maine said that the body of a missing hiker was found after he and his adult daughter vanished in the Baxter State Park over the weekend.

58-year-old Tim Keiderling and 28-year-old Esther Keiderling went missing on the Abol Campground near the summit of Mount Katahdin on Sunday.

    An extensive search for Esther continues along the Hunt and Abol Trails. The Maine Forest Service and the Maine Army National Guard are involved in the efforts.
