California man throws girlfriend ‘head first’ from balcony after she threw his belongings

A California man was arrested this week after he allegedly threw his girlfriend from a third-story balcony, killing her, police said.

57-year-old Albert Turner allegedly threw Irene Williams, 61, from a balcony at around 7:20 p.m. Monday.

Witnesses reported the shocking incident, sending officers to the apartment complex in the 500 block of West San Ysidro Boulevard.

  • Investigators said Williams tossed some of Turner’s belongings from the balcony during an argument before he threw her “head first” in retaliation.

    “Before I made it to my car, I hear a commotion and I turn around and he’s gotten a hold of her from behind and heaves her over the balcony, and she cartwheels and hits head first on the ground”, a witness said.

    Williams suffered severe head trauma and a broken femur and died from her injuries.

    Turner, who remained on scene, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
