Authorities in Houston are investigating after a human body was discovered inside a plastic container at a residence earlier this week.
The remains were found at around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday at a home at 650 Edgebrook Drive west of Galveston Road, police said.
Officers were conducting a search for a missing man when they discovered the body in a makeshift shed next to the home.

The Houston Police Department revealed that the missing persons’ report was filed on May 6, and a search warrant for the home was issued.
The decedent’s identity and cause of death remain unclear. Two residents of the home were arrested for questioning.
It was not immediately known whether the remains belonged to the missing man.
