Dropout Kings’ lead singer Adam Ramey died Monday at the age of 31, leaving behind his wife and 18-month-old child.
Ramey took his own life Monday, five days before turning 32, “after a long and painful battle with addiction,” his sister-in-law posted on a GoFundMe page.

His bandmates, Eddie “Black Car Bill” Wellz, Jeremy Garcia, and Rob Sebastian paid an emotional tribute on Instagram.
“With the heaviest hearts, we share that our brother, Adam Ramey, has passed away,” they wrote.
“His passion, energy, and love for music shaped Dropout Kings and touched countless lives.”
