A father-of-five passed away several days after he was slammed by a semi while rollerblading, the family says.
Joshua Womack succumbed this week to injuries he sustained on May 27 after a semi struck him while he was rollerblading.
“This has been the hardest thing we have ever experienced,” the family said in an update sharing the tragic news.
“He has two young children out of state to support, and his current wife is trying to support their three children (ages 3 months old to 3 years old) and desperately needs help in this scary time,” a GoFundMe page for Womack's family reads.
The grieving family said that his organs were donated to those in need following the accident.
Widow Madison Reeves said that she was relieved that such a tragedy “has prevented others from going through the same.”
