Virginia woman, 24, found shot to death behind wheel; boyfriend, other man charged with murder

A Virginia woman was found shot to death behind the wheel of her car on Monday, and authorities have charged two men in connection with her death.

Emily Keene, 24, was shot multiple times before she was found dead in the driver’s seat of her car. Her death was ruled a homicide.

Two days after the killing, Franklin County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Keene’s boyfriend, 25-year-old Isaiah Witcher, and 22-year-old Corion Manns.

  • Witcher allegedly admitted to being in a vehicle with Manns but claimed that the latter was the one who killed Keene.

    Both suspects were charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

    “Emily was one of the strongest people in my life,” the victim’s sister said. “She was brave, honest, and caring.”

    “There are so many that loved her & saw these same qualities in her. I’m honored to have been in her life. There won’t come a day that she isn’t missed.”
