A drug dealer was caught wheeling a suitcase with 40 pounds of fentanyl in a Bronx subway on Tuesday, officials said.

Juan Gabriel Herrera Vargas, 42, was found in possession of 13 rectangular kilogram bricks of the potent substance inside the blue rolling suitcase.

The quantity is sufficient to kill three-quarters of New York City's population or about 6.5 million people.
