Police heard shots being fired; Found dad, 2 daughters dead in murder-suicide

Columbus Police officers were so close to a murder-suicide scene late Friday night as they were able to hear the suspect firing shots, killing two daughters and self.

The incident took place on Jan. 1 in Muirwood Village Drive in Columbus, Ohio when police responded to reports of a domestic violence incident.

As they pulled up to the residence, they heard 32-year-old Aaron Williams gunning down his daughters Alyse and Ava, 6 and 9 years old, then shooting himself dead at around 11:32 p.m.

    The sisters were rushed to Doctor’s West Hospital where they passed away half-an-hour later within minutes of each other.
