Enraged Virginia man rams car into pedestrians, killing one, after argument with father

A Virginia man is behind bars after he allegedly rammed his car into pedestrians killing a woman Monday night.

Daniel N. Anderson reportedly stormed out of his Chesterfield home after arguing with his father and intentionally struck a couple killing 42-year-old Shaunda Bizzell.

“The preliminary investigation indicates that Anderson, of the 2700 block of Amherst Ridge Loop, intentionally steered his vehicle toward the pedestrians,” police said.

  • Anderson then called authorities, “identified himself, and made multiple threatening statements, including threats to shoot a school, bomb a building, and assault police officers.”

    “Investigators arrested Anderson and charged him with second-degree murder, malicious wounding, making threats of death or bodily injury, and making threats to bomb or damage buildings.”

    The suspect’s father said that his son, who has a history of mental problems, was having an “episode” when he left the home adding that he was unaware Anderson took the keys to the car.
