A Louisiana man is behind bars months after a teen he met online disappeared mysteriously on the way to his West Monroe home.

19-year-old Sheryl M. Turner told her family that she was going to visit 29-year-old Anthony Holland before leaving her New Iberia home on Dec. 31, 2023.

“As the days went by, we knew something was wrong,” Sheryl’s twin sister Sherry said.

On January 24, Sheryl’s body parts were found floating in the Ouachita River.
