One person is dead and 11 others were hurt in an overnight mass shooting in Elkhart, Indiana, on Sunday.
Officers responded to the scene on the 300 block of West Garfield Avenue just after 1:10 a.m. and learned that multiple people had discharged firearms during the incident.

12 people were either rushed to or showed up at area hospitals, suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the victims later died of their injuries, while others received treatment and were released.
