A person of interest is in custody after a deceased woman’s body was found dumped in a San Jacinto alley, police in Amarillo said.
Ronald Ernest Milles, 67, was reportedly in a relationship with 65-year-old Elizabeth Ann Duckworth whose body was found wrapped in plastic and dumped near Center and Alabama streets Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses told detectives Milles may have pushed Duckworth’s body in a stroller around the neighborhood before dumping it.
The victim’s cause and manner remain unknown. The woman was described as a mother, daughter, and sister who always had a good time.
“A big thank you to our Amarillo community for the assistance in locating Milles. This investigation is ongoing,” police said.
