A North Carolina realtor is accused of fatally shooting three people in an unprovoked crime spree on Friday.

David Lever reportedly had weapons and ammunition in his van when he went on a rampage across several crime scenes, Pitt County Sheriff Paula Dance said.

Lever started by shooting his 64-year-old Enrique Reyes in his driveway at around 1:30 p.m. killing the man who had just made a purchase at a local grocery store.

Level drove to another neighborhood where he tried to break into a home where residents “did not recognize him” and left.

At around 2:30 p.m., Level arrived at Anthony and Paula Gribble’s home where he gunned down the elderly couple before their son held him at gunpoint and called 911.

Detectives found no connection between the suspected realtor and victims other than Reyes being his neighbor and the Gribbles his former clients.
