An Alabama father was found with a fatal stab wound on New Year’s Eve and police have yet to make an arrest in the case.
Earnest Christion Jr., 68, was stabbed to death at a Birmingham home on Tuesday.
Officers found him “unresponsive suffering from what they believed to be a stab wound” and rushed him to a hospital where he died.
Nicknamed “Rickey”, the victim was a U.S. Army veteran and a devoted family man.
“Rickey was more than just a veteran; he was a beacon of joy and love,” his family said in a statement.
“His family was the center of his world, and he cherished each and every moment spent with them,”
“His love for his children was unconditional, and he took immense pride in being a devoted father.”
