Trump’s speech to autoworkers in Clinton Township, Michigan Wednesday could not go without attacking President Bien and criticizing his push toward green policy.
The former president lashed out at Biden’s administration for trying to destroy the automobile industry by promoting electric vehicles.
He even called Bien “a wretched old vulture trying to finish his prey” as he addressed a group of autoworkers at Drake Enterprises.
“I wonder if he has any idea that this stuff is happening. Biden’s job-killing EV mandate has dictated that nearly 70 percent of all cars sold in the United States must be fully electric…It’s crazy,” Trump said.
“Biden’s mandate isn’t a government regulation; it’s a government assassination of your jobs and of your industry.”
The presidential frontrunner also claimed that Biden acted against labor unions despite UAW President Shawn Fain praising his push for greener energy.
“Rotten and crooked politicians like Biden treat American jobs as disposable and American workers as expandable,” Trump alleged.
“They sat back and got rich by taking bribes to let other countries rape and pillage our jobs.”
