A New York City boy is dead after he fell from a Queens 7 train while subway surfing marking the second death related to the risky challenge in a week.
The 14-year-old fell off near the elevated Rawson Street station at around 5:30 p.m. Thursday he was found with a mortal head injury on the platform.
Exactly one week ago, another 14-year-old died in a similar incident while riding on the top of a Manhattan-bound L train in Brooklyn.
Brian Crespo was pronounced dead at the scene while a friend who was subway surfing with him sustained serious trauma to his body.
Following that tragic incident, Mayor Adams admonished social media for encouraging such deadly stunts among young people.
