Mom who murdered 2 children in Baltimore had previously tried to burn home down with them inside: Police

Baltimore news, Maryland news.

The Baltimore mom of two children found deceased inside a residence Tuesday had spent a year in jail for attempting to burn down a home with the kids inside, police said.

The victims, identified as Da’neria and Davin Thomas, were only 6 and 8 years old when mom Jamerria Hall slaughtered them inside the home and fled away.

Police Commissioner said that Baltimore officers “worked very hard” to locate Hall and make an arrest after finding the decaying bodies of the young siblings.

In 2018, Hall had been arrested after she disabled the smoke alarms at home before setting it ablaze with her children inside.

Court records also showed that Hall had been in a fierce custodial fight with the kids’ father, though it remains unclear whether she actually had full custody of them.
