A Connecticut teen has been charged with murder in connection with the fatal drive-by shooting of a 12-year-old boy that occurred on December, 18.

Tajay Chambers, 18, is now facing murder charges with special circumstances, carrying a pistol without a permit, second-degree larceny and risk of injury to a child. Three other juveniles will also be charged for the fatal shooting that took the life of Clinton Howell outside his home.

Chambers has been arrested on Dec. 19 for an October assault, and is being held on $500,000 bond. A detainer has been placed on him because of his current status as illegal Jamaican immigrant.

His next court appearance is scheduled for Wednesday.
