According to Virginia state police, an 80-year-old woman died almost a week after being involved in a frontal crash on the Isle of Wight.
Sylvia Cogville Chambers was seriously injured in an accident at Four Square Road (Highway 620) and Central Hill Road (Highway 637).
The accident occurred at 10:15 am on December 3rd. A Dodge Intrepid was heading south on Four Square Road when he turned left on Central Hill Road and crashed into a Lexus.
The driver of the Lexus and a passenger inside this car sustained serious injuries.
Both were taken to the hospital where Chambers succumbed to his injuries.
The driver of the Dodge was accused of not giving way.
