Hollywood news, California news.

Police shot a person in Hollywood during the night, according to reports.

The dead person's condition was not yet clear, but the incident occurred a few days after a police chase against a hijacked UPS truck caused a shooting in Miramar that left four dead.

According to WPLG-Ch. 10, Hallandale Beach Police say one of their officers tried to park a car in Hallandale but the driver refused to stop. During the pursuit along Pembroke Road and Interstate 95, a passenger was dragging through the window of the car holding a firearm.

The lawsuit ended near Hollywood City Hall when two armed men jumped out of the car and a police officer fired at one of them. This person was hospitalized and the other person was arrested and detained, Ch. 10 reported.
