Dover news, Delaware news.

A shooting death suspect has accidentally been released from a Dover prison and remains at large, according to a news release.

Dover police said that 27-year-old Dion Williams was arrested for assault, reckless endangerment and gun charges for his role in a fatal shooting that cost the life of a 31-year-old man.

According to the same source, Williams was arrested on Friday and transferred between agencies before he was released as a result of an unspecified "communication error."

After being arraigned, the suspect was taken to Georgetown prison where he remained until his release.

Williams is still at large and authorities said they have no ideas concerning his current whereabouts.
